Nothing But Neal!: Xander's First Halloween!

So Alexander got to experience his first Halloween. I am very aware that I got way more amusment out of it than he did but it was so fun to dress him up! What other day of the year are we able to dress up as something other than ourselves? I have learned through my years of teaching ballet that children are able to dress and imagine themselves as something else on a consistent basis, but Halloween is the one day a year that adults indulge in this fun as well. We decided that he should be a pumpkin and my Mom got him the most precious costume. We went to our friend the Henrys house for a party and Bubba was able to "hang out" with all his friends, who dressed up as well. All in all we had a great night and I hope that he will treasure the pictures of himself dressed up for his first Halloween the way that I treasure mine. {I was Raggedy Ann by the way!} Happy Halloween everyone!
